Default Master cylinder question sn95 swap

    Hey guys,

I promise you I have checked the sticky's but for some reason can't find a definitive answer....!

I have a 98 v6 master cylinder laying around for 5lug/rear disc swap on my 79 coupe. Can this be used with a 93 cobra remanufactured brake booster and is it suitable for the swap? I can't figure out of its any different compared to the earlier sn95 master cylinders.

    Thank you!

Check on the master cylinder diameter to verify if it will work with your setup.

FYI--If you don't feel like beating your strut tower to death or cutting the firewall, go with 94-98 Cobra brakes and M/C. The stock booster works great with the Cobra brakes.

I agree with Jeremiah. I have the 94/95 Cobra master cylinder with the stock '85 booster and Cobra brakes at all four corners and the pedal feel is great.

I'll third the above. Stock booster, Cobra M/C (15/16" bore), and Cobra brakes works fine for me.
