    Looks promising for rear

Given the HOURS machining required to do the Cougar/SN95 hybrid setup I built - it is a good option. Last I looked, the North Racecars stuff was getting out of control on prices. That’s why I originally designed the Cougar based setup for my son’s fox

With more research I found that 1999-2002 Cougars use a variety of brake combos

The 4 cyl cars had drum brakes in back and 260MM front rotors

The more performance oriented cars had 278MM front rotors and 252MM rear rotors

Had I known about the 260MM rotors it would avoid the work relocating the rear caliper bracket bolts on the axle brackets

Correction for offset and axle hub center is still needed

My son has run my Cougar vented disc brake setup on his 86GT for several years and a number of miles. He found his 86GT with the mods we made consistently out brakes a 2007 Miata even with the stock front brake rotors on the Mustang

I am very pleased with the end results but it was a lot of work
