    Default Wiper motor gasket

I need to put the wiper motor back on an 83 Mustang, and the foam gasket came apart. I have searched all the usual places but haven’t been able to find a replacement. Anyone have any ideas, it’s about 1/4 inch thick foam or rubber

I made a replacement out of 1/4” thick closed cell packing sheet material. Seemed to work great. I used the same for brake shield gaskets.

That's what I was thinking.... make some from the correct thickness closed cell foam. Did you just use the old gasket as a template?

Yes, exactly what I did. I can't seem to find any of the pictures of them if I took any at the time. I actually did the brake booster to firewall and the brake dust shield gaskets and not the wiper motor but it would still work.

Go to Michael's "Arts & Crafts" and buy a foam pad, lay your original on top of it, trace it, and cut it out with a razor blade. The Michael's near me has them in four or five different thicknesses.
