SVO Section
The Mustang SVO was a groundbreaking car for Ford. A fuel-injected, turbocharged four cylinder may not be the engine most people think of when they hear the name 'Mustang,' but the small, high-tech powerplant was able to keep up with the more stereotypical V8s of its day with ease.
Although only 9,844 (such a small number in the grand scheme of Mustang production) SVOs were produced between 1984 and 1986, the mark they left on Mustang history is undeniable.
