Production numbers for Mustangs and Capris, for the most part, seem to be fraught with errors, contradictions, and misinformation. Therefore, no guarantees can be made at this time for the majority of numbers you see here. There are a few cars of special interest that DO seem to be well documented and have VERY accurate numbers associated with them, such as the ascMcLaren Capris, SVO Mustangs, Anniversary cars, and others. The assumed accuracy of the numbers presented will be stated along with the numbers.

 

For the most part, consider these numbers approximate, and use them with that in mind. They are able to give a very good idea as to how many of what were produced, but not necessarily considered infallible at this time.
