Peter Slaney's Famous and Fantastic 1979 Mustang Cobra

Chances are, you've either seen this car in one of the major Mustang magazines (it's been featured in two of them in recent years), or posted on any number of Mustang enthusiast websites, and for good reason.  Peter Slaney's spectacular yellow Cobra manages both a factory fresh appearance and well modified muscle in the same package.  What's more is that this high-profile Cobra gets the word out that Fox Mustangs wore the Cobra name well before SVT and 1993.

Purchased in February of 2000, the creation of this car was very much a brotherly effort.  Pete gives credit to his brother Paul for being the mechanical mastermind while Pete himself handled the majority of body and interior work.  A little over four years later,  the 79 Cobra was reborn and ready to be noticed.
