These are the cars that suffer the fate of becoming hack-job wannabes. Many of them started out as complete and running cars that had the misfortune of falling into the hands of someone who wasn't wise enough to buy the car they wanted instead of a car they didn't want and failing at making it into something it was never meant to be.

The resale value of the cars, especially the abandoned and never-completed projects, is next to nil. Those who want an 87-93 Mustang typically don't want someone else's mess that isn't even the right year. Those who want a 79-86 Fox don't want something posing as a later model car.
