  • Making the rounds right now is a very brief Craigslist ad containing a link to a YouTube video. The video is a walk around of a Dark Shadow Blue SVO being uncovered and discussed in what appears to be a mechanic's shop. Strangely, we never see the rear of the car.

The individual holding the camera mentions taking still pictures, but no indication of them being uploaded anywhere just yet. The video description mentions a price of $35,000, and uses some creative reasoning on why that would be a fair price. Unfortunately, the market dictates prices. The video has been up only for a few days, but here we see on Craigslist an asking price of $20,000. A little closer to what the market will bear.

The SVO enthusiast segment of the Internet will surely be watching this as it unfolds. We're bound to hear from someone who can go see the car and will hopefully report on how it appears in person, and perhaps we'll get to see some proper pictures of the car as well.

Since Craigslist ads disappear without warning, here is the text and the link:

Thanks for the offer, but I've got the later one on my car. It works fine, but if I came across a good condition, functional panel for a reasonable price,

Ok, I was not aware of that variation. I thought there were only 3 types for 83-86 excluding the rear defrost addition

    1. No ac

Is it the 83 to mid-85 panel? Or the mid-85 to 86 panel?

In other words (no pun intended), does it have "Heat" and "Hi-Lo",

Just picked up a decent hvac panel at a local pick n pull. Works smoothly. Top 2 screw hole mounting tabs are broken off but probably could get by with

    Carb size?

I have a 750 ProForm on my 331 and have also ran a 650 Brawler on the same car/engine. Driveability is fine with both. I really didn't have to mess with

1FABP27M7GF228929 is an invalid VIN (the check digit "7" is not valid for the other 16 characters). The correct check digit for 1FABP27MxGF228929

    Door Tag Decode

I tried the link to decode the door tag but it says bad VIN just like it did yesterday for the buck tag. I try to be self sufficient.
