Short answer: Not sure yet. I haven't had time to go through PhotoPost data at all to see what is where and in what condition. It's on the list of things to do, but the list is overwhelmingly huge. I installed a new photo gallery plug-in for the board yesterday, and once testing of that is done, it will be time to start sifting through the ashes of the files the old hosting company threw at me. PhotoPost and Gallery are the two products we had before, and it appears I have all of the images from Gallery, but not necessarily any of the text/information that goes with it. Anyhow, I hope to luck out with the PhotoPost files. If that's the case, I'll try to figure out what might be yours and send them your way so you could rebuild that post and we could put it up here as an article. Unfortunately, I cannot yet give you a time frame for that.

Well, I did a little digging around. It looks like we have all the images from PhotoPost, but they are in folders of about 2,000 images each and all images are given a big, scary random file name. I believe, from your thread, it looks like your images should be in folder 500. However, I have no way of going through them myself to pick out each of your pictures given that there is no file name associated with them. If you would like, I can upload that entire folder and you can sort through them, do a right click-save as routine each time you find one that's yours so you have copies and then get those images inserted into the proper place in your post.

I wish I had an easier answer, but so far I don't think I can come up with anything better.

Thanks for the info! I'd be happy to sift through the file for the pics to rebuild that thread. Only other issue I've run into is that when I try to edit the post to add some of the photo's I do have; an error message pops up saying that there are 44 images \smilies in my post & the maximum is 20; please remove & retry... Hopefully I can work my way around that little issue without loosing too much thread content...

I think the first thing to do is kill off all the smilies and see what you've got left as to the number of images. Having no or too high of a limit on the number of images in a post can be a problem. 20 is about normal. I can see if it is possible to raise the limit in certain forums. If that's the case, I'd encourage you to redo your thread like a tech article in that forum we set aside for it. From there, I could promote it to an article and then potentially try to reinsert it into the board, though don't hold me to that. Promotion I know I can do, it's the other that would be a grand experiment. Is your registered email in your board profile current? If so, I will email you the link to the folder.

Also, as you're looking through the thread, copy all the URLs of the broken images (right click should get you the options) and make sure all of them refer to a /500/ somewhere in the URL. If some don't, then I'll need that number, too, in hopes of us chasing down all of your images.

Looks like it is a limit that goes for the whole board, not just forum specific. I'm hesitant to crank it up too much. Let me know what your bare minimum of images might be. Of course, you could also split it up into to two posts if you want to go the article route. I'll try to get that folder uploaded and we'll go from there.
