Pictures of my aluminum dash
for my Autometer gauges. My friend Chris Lynch and I made this on a DynaMechtronics
CNC vertical machining center at Chris' shop. I drew the dash in AutoCad 14 and exported it as a DXF file to Gibbs CAD/CAM to generate the tool paths needed for the CNC machine.
The main plate is made from 3/8" thick plate and the bezels are made from
1/4" thick plate.
